Week & Weekend Wrap-up

The lows:

Skip the Orange Ginger Quinoa.  It's not going into regular meal rotation anytime soon.  The fish patties were delicious.  Always a hubby pleaser.  We were short on bread crumbs and salmon, so I crushed some crackers and threw in some tuna.  I was worried about the combo, but they turned out tasty.

The 'To Do' list is not complete so I cannot post a picture of a scribbled, marked up, chewed on, crumpled piece of paper.  I can, however, transfer the remaining item (only one!) to my 'To Do' list for this week.  I jotted my goals down there as well.  Unfortunately, I did not get as much stretching, ab work, or sleep in as I had aimed.

The Highs:

A delicious Pumpkin Pie Smoothie :-)

I did not snap a picture of the Oven Roasted Chicken with Vegetables.  I was in too much of a rush to serve and feed the boys.  So, here's my lunchtime leftovers:

How embarrassing?  I love carbs!

She was a mighty bird.  Provided three adult dinners, a lunch, and a tray of baby food.

Super Foods Friday!  Kale Hash with Sweet Potatoes and Quinoa topped with Fried Eggs.

Hubby's Plate - 3 Eggs!

I pureed the veg/quinoa mix for Lil'T.  His first bite of Kale was not well received.

Other eats and treats:

T's Fave - Chocolate No Bake Cookies.  He didn't wait for them to set.

Sunday Morning Flour-less Oat Bran Cake

Leftover Chili Nachos!

We did more than eat!  We enjoyed some family time at two area parks.

Saturday at Umstead

Sunday at Durant - Lil'T missed the Deer and Bird of Prey sightings

T & Sleepy Sleepy
Time to finalize the grocery list and hit the hay.  Hopefully in a timely fashion.  Night!
